I was in uniform when a Standing Rock grandmother stopped me and hugged me so hard!! Grandmother said that it has been a long time since she had felt safe...I wept.(I did not ask her name)

I hear that the bison is now free and protected in the United States.  It is a shame that the same can't be said for Leonard Peltier.
